Bureau of Meteorology issues tropical cyclone warning for Northern Territory and Western Australia

 The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a tropical cyclone warning for the north coast of the Northern Territory and Western Australia.  

A tropical low over the Timor Sea is moving south towards the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf, near the border between the NT and WA, according to the BOM. 

The low could develop into a tropical cyclone during Friday morning, before making landfall on Friday afternoon or evening. 

The warning zone covers Kununurra to Kalumburu in northern WA, including Wyndham.
